I recently acquired a 1996 Suzuki LS650 Savage and would like to change the oil. Unfortunately, the previous owner had mislaid the owner's manual when I bought the bike and is still looking for it. I would ask him, but I've had difficulty getting ahold of him.
I know where ther oil goes in (top of the crankcase, just to the right of center) and where the oil comes out (drainplug underneath the crankcase on the left side), but is there an oil filter? Where is it?
